How engagements work

Three ways to work together, depending on how well defined the work is.

Fixed bid — A known deliverable with a clear finish line. You get a scoped price up front and no surprises.

Time and materials — The shape of the work is clear but the depth is not. You pay for the hours the work actually takes.

Monthly retainer — The most common, and usually the best value. You commit to a block of senior consulting hours each month, and we work the roadmap in priority order. Data work that matters does not finish — it compounds.

Retainer tiers run from a few days a month up to the equivalent of a full-time senior data architect. Higher monthly commitments carry a lower hourly rate, up to 29% less at the top tier. Fixed monthly cost for budgeting certainty, and you can move between tiers as your needs change.
